Our Program

House of Hope will be for biological women age 18+ who have experienced sexual exploitation and are seeking lasting change and hope for the future.

When working with survivors of sexual exploitation, you may hear terms such as emergency care, restorative care, and transitional home. Each step on the Continuum of Care (as illustrated below) provides critical support and services for a participant at that stage of their healing.

House of Hope will serve as a transitional home for women who have been sexually exploited. Our future residents will first have completed a restorative program and be ready to take the next step in their journey toward healthy, independent living.

Through trauma and survivor-informed leadership, House of Hope will take a holistic approach to restoration, which involves a relationship with God, others, and self.

House of Hope will provide residents opportunities to:

  • Build healthy relationships
  • Engage in community
  • Develop life skills to enable independence
  • Demonstrate work readiness skills
  • Have exposure to God’s truth and love
  • Follow Jesus

This nurturing and accepting environment, paired with resources and support to live empowered transformed lives, will prepare our residents for the future.

House of Hope will not be:

  • An emergency shelter
  • A treatment facility (i.e., We will not treat conditions such as eating disorders, severe depression or anxiety, or other severe trauma-induced behaviors)
  • A drug recovery program (i.e., All residents must be drug-free. We will not provide therapy for those experiencing new, ongoing, or recurring addictions)
