Leadership Team

Beckie Starkey

President | Co-Founder

God has impressed a burden on Beckie’s heart to meet the needs of women in crisis, especially victims of sex trafficking. She has filled roles in corporate America, education, women’s ministry, and homesteading.

Valerie Beck

Vice President | Co-Founder

While praying with a distraught woman, Valerie first learned about girls being trafficked in 2012. She returned home that evening determined to learn more. Valerie immediately began to ask God how He might use her and eventually became involved in local anti-trafficking ministries. She also championed efforts in her home church to bring awareness to sex trafficking and how pornography fuels the demand. Because Jesus has rescued, redeemed, and restored her life, Valerie is passionate about sharing His love with others.

Sean Starkey

Co-Founder

Sean has a heart to care for women in crisis situations. This passion has centered on exploited women in the last ten years as his heart was broken when his eyes were opened to the abuse and mistreatment of women caught up in human trafficking. Sean has decades of experience in corporate leadership roles and over five years in non-profit board leadership. Sean currently serves as House of Hope’s spiritual leader.

Dave Jagt

Board of Directors

Dave has spent more than 25 years in the automation technology industry serving in multiple leadership roles. He has also served as a board member and startup partner for ReStored Thrift Store and several local ministry care teams.
